A-2 Horsehide Flight Jacket, WWII USAAF Reproduction, Seal Brown Leather Bomber Jacket, Vintage Military Aviation Jacket
A Faithful Reproduction of the Classic WWII A-2
Made from approximately 1.3 mm full-grain vegetable-tanned horsehide, this jacket has the substantial feel and structured character traditionally associated with horsehide flight jackets. The leather starts relatively firm and gradually develops natural creases, grain, and patina through regular wear, allowing each jacket to develop its own character over time.
The deep Seal Brown finish gives the jacket the unmistakable appearance of a classic wartime A-2.

1.3 mm Vegetable-Tanned Horsehide
Horsehide is known for its dense fiber structure, durability, and distinctive aging characteristics. When new, the leather may feel relatively firm. With wear, it gradually conforms to the body and develops natural creases and variations in texture. These changes are part of the character of vegetable-tanned horsehide rather than defects. The result is a jacket that becomes increasingly personal the longer it is worn.
Contrast Stitching
The Seal Brown horsehide is paired with carefully selected contrast stitching inspired by vintage examples. Against the dark leather, the stitching creates subtle visual definition around the seams and construction lines. This type of stitching also demands greater accuracy during assembly, as every line is clearly visible.
Made by Binhai Global
Binhai Global has been producing reproduction flight jackets and military clothing since 2006. Our goal is not simply to reproduce the appearance of a historic jacket. We focus on the materials, construction, proportions, hardware, stitching, and small details that give vintage military clothing its distinctive character.
We believe a good reproduction should look right when new — and become even better after years of wear.
